The 90-minute production consists of ten scenes, each of which conveys the story of a significant person whose life was radically changed by Francis. The play presents the saint’s powerful message of reconciliation, which these artists feel is needed more than ever in our contemporary world.

Music will be performed live by renowned Sator Duo also of Perugia: Paolo Castellani, violin, and Francesco Di Giandomenico, classical guitar. Music and stories are enhanced by rear screen projection of images created for Messenger of Peace by Tim Leeming of Oak Park, IL. The script and music are creations of Friar Robert Hutmacher, OFM.
