The Salvation Army will serve a free community Christmas dinner on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, from 11am to 12:30 pm. The dinner will be held in the gymnasium at The Kroc Center at 405 Vermont Street.
For those needing a ride, transportation will be provided to the Kroc Center. Meals will also be delivered to shut-ins. Those who need a meal delivered or need transportation should call The Salvation Army at 217-231-5626 by 12pm on Thursday, December 20.
Anyone wishing to donate a dessert for the Christmas dinner is asked to bring them to The Kroc Center between 7am to 3pm on Tuesday, December 24.
Volunteers interested in helping serve the Christmas meal should contact the Kroc Center at 217-231-5626. Please leave a message with your name and the number of people volunteering. Names will be accepted until Friday, December 20.
