Step back in time to see what life may have been like in the 1800’s. Visit with reenactors; school teachers giving lessons and activities, the preacher at the Log Church, or stop at the Clat Adams store and visit with a shop keeper or play a game of checkers. There will be music, fur traders, and Janet will be on hand to tell what the herbs in the garden may have been used for. Pioneer games by the Quincy Park District. The Standing Bear Council will be on hand along with French explorer LeClaire who will give a special presentation at 1:30 p.m. that day. And, as a special treat Mr. Lincoln aka Fritz Klein will be on hand to visit throughout the day. Just a few of the people visitors will have the opportunity to chat with.
There will food available for purchase at the Shelter house.
