Trinity will host an in-person “Blue Christmas Service” on December 21st. The tradition of a Blue Christmas service has also been called “The Longest Night service.” Historically, churches who observed this custom gathered on the winter solstice, which is the longest night of the year. This service is designed for people who are grieving or experiencing sadness around the holidays. Trinity’s service will be meditative and reflective, with beautiful music and special readings. This service is designed to acknowledge the difficulty of life and praise God for continuing to provide us hope and courage. Trinity is at the corner of S. 24th Street and Cherry Lane. The community is invited.
