This year, the Heartland Community is celebrating more than 25 years of seeing people find hope for their lives and is hosting a “Heartland Homecoming.” The event coincides with National Recovery Month, so we look forward to re-connecting with friends and alumni as well as raising awareness about addiction.
8am-1pm….. Farmers & Craftsmen Fair
10am….. Rally for Recovery Walk (walkathon to raise funds for personal needs of Heartland Recovery Program Residents)
11am….. Outdoor Activities (blow-up games for kids, corn hole), Food Vendors including Bobby Ray’s BBQ
3:30pm….. Main Program (indoors at Heartland Community Church): Keynote Speaker Alan Robertson

Keynote speaker for the afternoon program is Alan Robertson, “Son of the Duck Commander”. Alan grew up hunting and fishing and helped build the foundation of the family business in the ’70s and ’80s. Back in the day, he and Phil would travel around Louisiana and Arkansas selling duck calls to stores right out of their truck. The sales pitch back then was the same as it is today: “These calls are the best ’cause they sound just like a duck!” Alan returned to the family business after serving in full-time ministry for more than 25 years. He plays a vital role in the family’s commitment to spreading the gospel of Christ through their love of hunting and the great outdoors.

Admission is free for this family-friendly event. Please join us!
