John Wood Community College’s Adult Education Department offers FREE CLASSES and TUTORING for adult learners and FREE TRAINING for volunteer tutors who help the learners reach their goals. Adults who want to earn their GED, learn English, improve their reading or math, or prepare for their citizenship test, can meet with a tutor for an hour a week at a place they choose—they don’t even have to come to campus! One hour a week can change a life!
FREE CLASSES for learning English meet in Quincy, Pittsfield, and online. FREE GED classes meet in Quincy, Mt. Sterling, Pittsfield, Camp Point, and online.
