17th annual Cemetery Walk
Spring flea market

The public is invited to take a walk through time at the Florida Cemetery in Florida on Saturday, May 24th 2025, from 10 am to 12 noon. Re-enactors will be portraying the well known and the less well known residents of the famous small village where Mark Twain was born. Additionally we will be hosting our first annual spring flea market which will be held on the grounds of the Florida Schoolhouse from 9 am – 3 pm.
The cemetery walk and flea market are free to the public and refreshments will be available for a small cost. Baked goods will also be available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the Friends of Florida organization in their upkeep and renovations of the historic one room Florida Schoolhouse. (The schoolhouse will be open during the cemetery walk and flea market for those wishing to visit).
