The Salvation Army of Quincy will serve a free Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 24, from 11am-12:30pm. Delivery will be available to shut-ins. The meal will consist of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and all the trimmings. Attendees will need to make a reservation with The Salvation Army for one of the following time slots 11am or 11:45am.
Reservations will be accepted from November 1-November 18. Shut-ins must provide the following information: name, number of meals, and address, when calling to request a meal.
Donations of prepackaged baked goods will be accepted at The Kroc Center between 7:00am to 4:00pm on Wednesday, November 23. Anyone wishing to make a monetary donation towards the meal may mail a check to The Salvation Army at PO Box 75, Quincy, IL 62306-0075.
