“Caregiving 101” a FREE program open to the public, will be presented at Christ Lutheran Church, 333 S. 36th Street, Quincy on Thursday, May 19 at 6:30pm. Our speaker and program developer is Barbara Richmiller, RN, BSN. Barb worked at the Illinois Veterans Home for 28.5 years. She was named the 2019 Volunteer of the Year by the Governor of Illinois for her involvement with RSVP, Red Cross, Master Gardener, and Blessing Hospital. She will cover Caregiving by the Numbers, How Caregiving Affects Us, Family Dynamics, Downsides of Caregiving, Depression Burnout, Resources, Did You Know, and time for Q&A after the program.
