YWCA Quincy’s annual fundraising event is just weeks away. Join us for “A Voice for all Women in Sync”–a night honoring three women in our community: Latonya Brock, Dallas Duncan-Klauser, and Kaitlyn Smith.
Following the awards, enjoy a lip sync showdown featuring the talents of Chris Austin of the Quincy Country Club, Paige Pfeiffer, Makayla Buckley, and Robin Bailey of Rethink Media Group, Dr. Erin Sheffield of Quincy Medical Group, Austin Young of 644 Maine, Heidi Welty and Salvation Army staff, Shawn Jones of the Beat Arts Academy, and Trenton Henderson of Quincy University.
Nathan Wall of Knapheide, Eric Thomas of Electric Oak, and Charity Bell of WGEM will judge the lip sync contestants and give out medals to 2 acts for best impression and most comical. The audience will get in on the fun and vote to decide who will be crowned this year’s Lip Sync Champion. Finally, the People’s Choice winner will be determined by which contestant brings in the most fundraising dollars.
The event will take place on August 26th at the Oakley-Lindsay Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the event starts at 6:00 p.m. A full dinner buffet and cash bar will be provided. Tickets are $55 each. After August 19th, tickets will increase to $65 each. You can purchase tickets online at ywcaquincy.org or at the YWCA Quincy office located at 639 York Street, Suite 200.
