Bruce Rice, Big Time Morning Show (BTMS) and Executive Director

Bruce Rice (BR), Executive Director and Underwriter, is a 1987 charter employee. BR is the man who everyone LOVES, and loves to pick on. Start your day off right with JT and BR weekdays from 7 to 9 a.m. Tune in for a refreshing mix of great music, loads of fun and laughter and frequent words of comfort and encouragement. Bruce manages all aspects of THE MIX including underwriting, community partnerships, engineering, concerts and events, and working with the Board of Directors.

Bruce enjoys tennis, golf, and spending time with his wife, Maxine. BR and "Mix-Max" have enjoyed ministering together since 1967. BR delights in the closeness of his large family.

Jim Taylor, Big Time Morning Show (BTMS) and Operations Manager

Experience the wisdom (cough, cough), of our Operations Manager, weekdays from 6 - 10 a.m. Off the air, Jim also manages all music, programming and announcers. He's a busy guy!

Jim and his wife, Connie, have been married since 7/7/77 and they have three beautiful daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, his Harley and his guitar . . . but not all at the same time!

Maxine Rice, Associate Director

Maxine Rice, Associate Director and Underwriter, is a 1987 charter employee. Maxine supervises THE MIX office operations, including office staff, accounts payable and receivable, off-air Sharathon details, concert details, and more! She has coordinated March For Jesus, Impact World Tour, SHOUTfest and many other annual concerts and events.

BR and Maxine are both ordained ministers who enjoy ministering together. They were married in 1967 and have 5 daughters, 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandsons.   Maxine enjoys spending time with family in Quincy and the Quad Cities.

Dan “Rhino” Reinhard, Weekday Afternoons and Evenings

Dan has been part of WGCA since 2001. He worked weekends at the meat truck before moving to afternoons and evenings. Dan’s show includes lots of great ministry but he may be best-known for his daily countdown to Christmas...beginning in January.

Dan and his wife, Fran, have been married for 27 years and have four children. He is active in the church where he grew up, Faith Assembly of God, and serves on the board. Dan enjoys sports, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Ginny Harris, Weekends

Ginny has been with WGCA since 2004. She’s on the air Sunday mornings and does lots of fill-in work for the other announcers. She often hosts the early morning show for JT and BR if they are under the weather. Ginny also works behind the scenes in the production room and keeps things running smoothly.

Ginny comes from a Ukrainian family and enjoys all the traditions and fun that come with it. She and her husband, Stan, have two boys. Ginny enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and trips to visit family in Omaha, Nebraska.

Greg Haubrich, Weekends

Greg joined the "The Mix" staff in 1991. He loves to share his testimony and his enthusiasm for contemporary Christian music. He enjoys running, music, baseball, cooking, and most of all his four children.

JJ Miller, Weekday Mornings

JJ takes over for JT about 10:30 each day. JJ Miller was born in Kansas and has lived in the Midwest for most of her life. A broadcaster and professional narrator for well over a decade, JJ is still an outdoor girl. Raised on a ranch and surrounded by animals, JJ spends her free time caring for a host of exotic animals between episodes of Law & Order. JJ has served WGCA as a voice talent since 2001.

Jim Wilson, Transmitter Site Engineer

Jim Wilson has served as an Engineer for WGCA since 2002.  He is one of our most valuable players since he keeps the transmitter and all our other equipment functioning! Jim’s full time job is Station Engineer for WTJR-TV.        

Jim has an AAS Degree in Broadcast Electronics from John Wood Community College in Quincy. He is also a graduate of the Broadcast Training Program of the New Life Evangelistic Center of St. Louis, MO, with director Rev. Larry Rice. He was in the program from 1986-1988. Jim became a Born Again Christian while in the training program and attending an AOG Church in House Springs, Missouri. He met his wife Penny at work. They have two children. Jim says, “I thank God for giving me a calling and purpose through Christian Broadcasting. My life verse is: Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but happy is he that keeps the law.”

Russ Smith, IT Coordinator/Webmaster

Russ has been the IT Coordinator at WGCA since 2007. He is our network administrator, leads our website development, and serves as our very own Helpdesk. Russ also coordinated the Battle of the Bands at SHOUTfest and our MIXfest 2013. He enjoys interacting with our young listeners.

He and his wife, Kimberly, have three children. Russ enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his work with WGCA he is pastor of Heritage Family Bible Fellowship, a new family-integrated, Hebraic-roots church here in Quincy. His favorite Bible verses are Deuteronomy 6:4-9.

Susan Hetzler, Gift Processing

Susan joined the staff in February 2011 to process WGCA’s donations. She maintains the annual Sharathon data entry process and records daily income.

Psalm 18:16-19 “He reached down from on high and took hold of me"... is her favorite Bible verse. She enjoys Beth Moore and James MacDonald Bible Studies. Susan likes painting, tennis, reading, origami and pizza.

 

Pam Wiewel, Office Assistant

Pam joined the WGCA staff as Office Assistant in September 2011. She began her journey with THE MIX during Sharathon 2000 when the music confirmed a decision she was facing. Pam handles the reception desk, social networking, our Mobile App and any office work the rest of the staff puts before her.

She and her husband Doug are active with the Praise Band at Faith Presbyterian Church and raising 4 teenagers.
