The Crossing's FREE HELICOPTER DROP Easter Egg Hunt for 3 year olds - 6th grade will be April 18th at Flinn Stadium. This event partners with QHS football and other local Quincy businesses. The Easter Egg Hunt is FREE to the community. Over 1,100 kids participated in last year’s hunt and this year we expect even more. There will be horse rides available on the Crossing 48th St. Campus. Golf cart and bus shuttles will be available to those attending service following the hunt.

There is no cost, but you can purchase a VIP ticket for early admission (5pm) during The Crossing church services beginning April 5th.

The Community Cancer Crush

This Community Cancer Crush is a fundraiser to raise money for local cancer patients. This money will be dispersed through the Blessing Foundation to the Cancer Center patients themselves towards many different patient needs including those that may need assistance getting to and from the treatment center. Ticket includes a full sit-down dinner, live entertainment all evening, silent and live auctions, a Harley-Davidson raffle and so much more!

Easter Egg Hunt
Sponsored by the Historic Quincy Business District

The Historic Quincy Business District will partner with downtown churches to provide the community a free Easter Egg Hunt.

This event is free to the public and will feature hunts for several ages. Youngsters will be divided into six categories: Toddlers (1-2), Preschool (3-4), Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, and Third & Fourth Grades. Each child will receive at least one prize and enjoy a great morning in Washington Park. There will be several special prizes given away by downtown businesses and churches.

Children's Health and Resource Fair

Quincy Medical Group and the All Our Kids (AOK) network are excited to announce the firstever Children’s Health and Resource Fair.

The event will begin with informational booths from QMG departments such as Behavioral Health, Pediatrics, OBGYN, Physical Therapy and Nutrition Services as well as booths from the AOK Network, Chaddock, the Kroc Center, Transitions, the Autism Support Group and more.

The event will end with presentations from QMG providers and staff. Topics discussed will include understanding developmental screenings and local resources, case presentation and panel discussion.

Coming to Bethel Assembly of God Church

The Power Team is a group of world class athletes who have performed the world’s greatest exhibitions of power, strength, speed, inspiration and motivation in every state and 40 countries in the past 30 years. The team has several world record holders, former NFL players and professional wrestlers.

These giant men, many weighing more than 300 pounds, can blow up hot water bottles like balloons, snap baseball bats like twigs, lift telephone poles overhead, rip phone books and license plates like pieces of paper and small wall of ice and concrete.

Believing that inspiration and motivation equals academic and personal achievement, they tackle the tough issues of drugs, alcohol, violence, abstinence, peer pressure and suicide.
